PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME

I had a patient to who came in complaining they had a piriformis problem. That no matter how much they stretch, form roll, or try to massage the area its always painful.

The big issue with this patient is that their glutes were being inhibited and the poor little piriformis muscle was being used to stabilize the hip, which was causing it to fatigue quickly.

We addressed the stability issue by working on and activating the patients glutes. Some injuries will show up as symptoms in different body parts because of dysfunction of skeletal mechanics.

If your having similar symptom please call our office, we maybe able to help you.
